Venue Description

The famed Aladdin Hotel and Casino opened its doors at midnight on April 1, 1966. It was located at 3667 South Las Vegas Blvd. In May 1967, The Aladdin hosted the wedding of Elvis Presley and his bride, Priscilla. The Aladdin boasted an Arabesque theme until its closure in 1998. On April 27, 1998, the hotel tower was imploded to make way for the new Aladdin resort, which opened in August 2000. But it didn’t last long; in September 2001 the new Aladdin filed for bankruptcy. It was purchased by Planet Hollywood and Starwood Resorts. Since 2007, the property has operated under the Planet Hollywood name.
